No1 Goalkeeper School is announcing its 10th annual Winter Program for  2020.

This year we are offering a single session with 10 classes starting after the holidays.  We think it is a better option, we hope you agree.

Winter Program:

• Fridays starting January 10th through March 13th

• Time: Fridays at 4-5:15pm

• Location:  Total Soccer Wixom

Details:  Advanced goalkeeper training is designed for goalkeepers that are looking to take their game to the next level. The sessions will focus on 3 out of 4 aspects of the game physical, technical and tactical.

Ages:  u11-u12, u13-u14, and u15-u18 boys and girls.  Everybody must register by age, however when we train we will group the Keepers by technical and physical abilities.

Training Hours: 12.50 total hours (10 sessions X 1.25 hours per session)

Cost: $375 (includes jersey & socks, which are required to be worn to training).  Credit card payment required at time of registration (Note: your statement will show as "2Martini").

• Specific warm-up (based on the topic of the day)

• Technical & tactical activities (based on the topic of the day)

• Game related activities (based on the topic of the day)

• Cool down activities

The curriculum for the training program is based on the level of experience of each goalie and will cover:

• Specific goalkeeper warm up activities

• Specific goalkeeper foot work

• Strength & Agility

• Flexibility & Coordination

• Ball handling

• Distribution (hands and feet)

• Collapsing & diving techniques

• Positioning and Shot stopping

• Organizing the wall for set pieces

• Dealing with breakaways

• Dealing with crossed balls

• Dealing with Penalty Kicks

• Proper cool down
